The Journal of Intelligent Systems Technology and Informatics (JISTICS) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes high-quality research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Informatics.
JISTICS aims to foster global scientific exchange by providing a platform for researchers, practitioners, and academics to disseminate original findings, critical reviews, and innovative applications. The journal is published three times a year (March, July, November) and may also publish special issues on emerging topics.
Aims
JISTICS is dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in intelligent systems and informatics by publishing rigorous, original, and impactful research. The journal seeks to:
- Provide an international platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research and practical applications.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration across Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
- Support open science and unrestricted access to scholarly communication.
- Encourage high academic and ethical standards in scientific publishing.
Scope
JISTICS welcomes submissions in a wide range of areas related to intelligent systems and informatics, including but not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
- Data Science, Big Data Analytics, and Data Mining
- Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Pattern Recognition
- Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics
- Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and Human–Computer Interaction
- Intelligent Decision Support Systems
- Cybersecurity, Cryptography, and Information Assurance
- Cloud Computing, IoT, and Distributed Systems
- Software Engineering and Intelligent Applications
- Information Systems, Knowledge Management, and E-Government
Editorial & Peer Review Policy
- All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening for scope, ethics, and formatting.
- Manuscripts are checked with plagiarism detection software (similarity index ≤20%).
- The journal applies a double-blind peer review process with at least two independent reviewers.
- The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision (accept, minor/major revision, resubmit, or reject).
Open Access Policy
JISTICS is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online without subscription or paywalls. Authors retain copyright, and articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), permitting sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.

Publication Ethics
JISTICS adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers are expected to uphold standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, falsification, redundant publication) is strictly prohibited and may lead to rejection, withdrawal, or retraction.
Publication Frequency
JISTICS publishes three issues per year (March, July, November). Special issues may also be organized on emerging topics with approval from the Editor-in-Chief.
Archiving Policy
To ensure long-term preservation, JISTICS utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and may also collaborate with initiatives such as CLOCKSS, Portico, or national libraries.
Withdrawal & Retraction
- Withdrawal: Allowed before peer review without penalty; discouraged during/after review and may incur a withdrawal fee.
- Retraction: Applied to published articles in cases of serious errors or misconduct, following COPE Retraction Guidelines.
Unclear Manuscript Policy
Manuscripts must be clear, concise, and follow JISTICS Author Guidelines. Unclear manuscripts (e.g., poor language, weak structure, inconsistent formatting) may be desk-rejected or returned for major revisions. Authors are strongly encouraged to seek professional English editing before submission if necessary.
Indexing & Accessibility
All published articles are assigned DOIs and indexed in major academic databases and search engines. JISTICS is committed to expanding its indexing coverage to enhance visibility and global reach.
